The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The service level designed for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who visit a click here service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
